They Sing

Have you ever heard of a singing bowl? It is a Tibetan bowl that makes a beautiful singing sound when you run a striker around the outside rim of the bowl. They are used in meditation and healing. They are also used in music. I first heard one at a yoga studio. The instructor had several beautiful Crystal Singing Bowls that she used to promote a soothing atmosphere.

I am shopping for one and found a great site called SilverSkyImports.com. They import singing bowls directly from the Himalayas as well as other items from the area like prayer flags, silver jewelry and gongs. The crystal singing bowls that they carry are made from pure quartz crystals. I can't wait to have one of my own.
