Spring break is over and it is moving into a busy time of year for everything school related. The school lockers are full of test notes as students get ready to go for the home stretch of the year. High school girls have their lockers full of pictures of prom dresses as they decide what to wear to the prom.
The parents aren't left out either. It is almost time for school reunion season. They will be returning to their school for one more look at their gym locker and to rub their hand over the wood locker they shared in high school.
As mundane as they seem, lockers play a vital role in school life. Everyone has used one and the sight of one can take you right back to your school days. No wonder some people search out lockers for sale for a bit of nostalgia.

Statistically Speaking
I have never understood statistics. Fortunately, I've never had a job where I needed to. Unfortunately, that means that I am no help when it comes to my niece and her studies. She asked for me to help her with some statistics answers since I'm the one in the family who is good with numbers but I couldn't help her.
The good news is that there is all kinds of statistics help available on the internet. You can get a statistics tutor for whatever level of help you need. There is even free statistics help available where you can get an answer to your specific statistics questions. Whether you need tutoring for grades K through 12, back to school or college tutoring you can find help with your statistics problems by searching online for help.

Luvin' It
We recently completed our kitchen remodel and I'm loving it! I haven't cooked this much in a long time. Which may not be a good thing if my clothes start getting tight.
Tonight I'm in the mood for Cuban food so I sent hubby to the grocery. I now have steaks marinating in lemon and garlic for Palomilla steaks. We'll have tostones (fried green plantains) and black beans and rice to go with it. We both learned to love Cuban food when we lived in Miami. Now if we want it I have to cook it, there's definitely no good Cuban restaurants in north Florida.
Have I made anyone hungry yet?

It's That Time Again
It's the time of year when we start planning our summer trips. My husband and I are both interested in heading back to our other favorite seaside spot, Myrtle Beach. He loves to get in a few rounds of golf while I hang around the Myrtle Beach Hotel.
I'm looking at oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotels, trying to make a decision. There are some great places to stay and each one has it's own atmosphere. The most important thing to me in an oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotel is the pool area. I like to spend my day going back and forth from the beach to the pool while hubby is chasing balls around the golf course. We both have our priorities!

Avoiding Confusion
Health care has made great strides over the past 50 years but it has also become more confusing. Instead of seeing one family doctor who does everything, people see multiple health care providers. Doctor's have to be more careful than every to ensure that they are prescribing the right drugs. That's where services that can offer e prescribing software come in.
The system allows physicians to easily and quickly electronically transmit prescriptions. Clinical information can be displayed during the process to help avoid errors. This system can be beneficial to physicians, clinics, pharmacies and insurers just to name a few. It can help you in meeting the requirements for ARRA HITECH. It also meets the requirement for CCHIT Certification. Any health care provider can be confident that they are doing what's best for both themselves and their patients when utilizing the system.

Appliance Rebates Are Good!
The appliance rebate program for Florida started today. My washing machine began leaking a couple of weeks ago so this is the perfect time to buy a new one. I got into the website 5 minutes after it went live this morning and got a reservation number so it looks like I will be saving some money! They are even offering an extra $75 if you recycle your old one through the retailer.

Custom Computer Choices
There are still opportunities available to find custom computers are reasonable prices in today's market. I think most people have become so accustomed to seeing all of the computers lined up on the shelves of stores that they don't realized a custom laptop can be ordered.
A custom computer can be worth the wait when you consider that it can be configured to meet your exact needs and specifications. Buying hardware off the shelf and then trying to modify it to meet your needs can be more expensive than ordering custom laptops. If you need something besides the basic generic configuration, ordering a custom one can be the way to go.

Amazing Prices
My husband and I have become die hard Zenni Optical fans when it comes time to buy eyeglasses. The savings are amazing when you compare them to a traditional brick and mortar shop. We are both very pleased with the quality as well.
I took the plunge first. I ordered two pair and was so happy that I ordered another two. With their prices I could afford to buy several different styles and colors. My husband recently had his annual exam and decided to give them a try. He uses three kinds of eyeglasses, one for reading, one for the computer and one for driving. He ordered one of each and was so happy he immediately ordered three more. He now has six pair of glasses and still hasn't come close to spending what he would have on a single pair of eyeglasses at the regular shop.
With the way the economy is we are trying to save any place that we can. I feel so lucky that we found Zenni Optical. We can both order the glasses we need without wondering how we are going to pay for them. I don't know how they produce such good quality at the prices they charge but I certainly glad that they do.

Done!!
I am doing a happy dance. Our kitchen renovation is finally over. I can't begin to tell you how much I love it. I actually have so much cabinet space now that there are empty ones. I've never had an empty kitchen cabinet!
Everything turned out great, exactly as I had pictured it. I love the granite counter tops and the maple cabinets. It's wonderful to have the new eating area. The doors out to the deck are no longer blocked by the table and everything feels so much more spacious. All that's left to do is start cooking!
